A Glimpse Into How I Build 360 Virtual Tours

This is wow I build 360 Virtual Tours: From 360 Photoshoot to Virtual Experience. Ever wondered how a 360° Virtual Tour is made? If you’re curious about what goes on behind the scenes, here’s a simple breakdown of how I build immersive digital tours that let people explore real spaces virtually—whether it’s a home, a hotel, a café, or any unique location.

Step 1: The 360° Photoshoot

Everything starts with scheduling a 360° photoshoot. I visit the property or space and take high-quality panoramic shots from multiple angles. This is the foundation of the entire virtual tour—capturing every corner in detail so that viewers can “walk through” the space as if they’re really there.

Step 2: Editing and Color Grading

Once the shoot is done, the real magic begins behind the screen. I edit and color-grade each 360 photo to enhance lighting, remove imperfections, and make sure everything looks crisp and inviting. It’s like polishing each window into your space.

Step 3: Building the Virtual Tour System

Now comes the fun (and sometimes slightly tedious) part—building the virtual tour itself. I log the polished images into a specialized system where I:

Connect the scenes together with hotspots (the clickable arrows you see in tours).

Add useful info tags that highlight details like amenities, pricing, or history.

Insert photos, videos, links, or any content the client wants to include.

Create a customized web version so the tour is easily accessible online.

And finally, generate an offline version for clients who want to store it on a local device or use it in presentations.

Step 4: Delivery + Enjoyment

Yes, it’s a bit of technical work—but I truly enjoy every part of it. Why? Because while building the tour, I get to virtually explore and re-experience the place I just captured. It’s like traveling inside your own project!
